How to Install SMS-iT on Android and Connect SIM Card

Purpose

To set up the SMSit platform to receive and send SMS messages using a company phone.

Procedure

  1. Go to smsit.com and log in with provided credentials (please ask Nicole).

  2. Click on "SMS Gateway and SMPP" and then "Connect."

  3. Copy the link address provided.

  4. Open the link on an Android phone and install the app from the link. Grant all permissions when prompted.

  5. Open the installed app. When prompted to sign in with QR code, select "Sign in Manually" instead.

  6. Log in using the SMSit account credentials.

  7. Enter the phone number of the SIM card in the company phone you want to connect.

  8. Ensure the company phone is connected to WiFi to receive messages.

  9. The SMSit account and company phone SIM are now connected for sending and receiving messages.

The SMSit account is set up and connected to the company phone via the SMS Gateway app for sending and receiving SMS messages.
