How to Scrape IG followers

Purpose

To extract Instagram profile data for marketing and growth hacking and build custom scrapers to extract data from any website

Procedure

Scrape Instagram followers/following

1. Open Burdeen Chrome extension

2. Find "Save Instagram following and followers to Google Sheets" automation

3. Enter number of profiles to extract

4. Select create new Google Sheet or add to existing sheet

5. Run automation

6. Sheet will contain profile data like name, handle, image

Scrape Instagram profile to Sheets

1. Open Instagram profile page

2. Open Burdeen Chrome extension

3. Find "Save Instagram profile to Google Sheets" automation

4. Select Google Sheet to add data to

5. Run automation

6. Profile data like followers, following, description will be added to sheet

Customize scraper template

1. Open Burdeen and create new playbook (automation)

2. Add "Scrape Data on Active Tab" action

3. Create new Single Page Scraper template

4. Select elements on page to extract like name, handle, followers

5. Add "Add Table Rows to Google Sheet" action

6. Map extracted data to spreadsheet columns

7. Save scraper template

8. Run automation to test

Create right-click automation

1. Open existing automation in Burdeen builder

2. Add Right Click on Website trigger

3. Name right-click menu option

4. Enable playbook

5. Right click on site to run automation
