What is a Linked Record?

Linked Records connect Apps in SmartSuite. These can connect Records from different Solutions, and for us, it is mostly used in HR and in Content Production. For Grow & Improve, we use it for alignment when assigning Tasks.

It’s particularly useful if you don’t want to input the same information in different places, so that means when data (e.g. email, contact number) from the original Record is updated, it reflects in the Linked Record immediately!

If you’ve used Click-Up before, you would know this bears a resemblance with the Relationships feature, and it’s used in a similar way in SmartSuite.
