Vonas Mediaβs Internship Program will last for 12 weeks or three (3) months. This 12-week internship will consist of three (3) departments, namely Production, Video Editing, and Marketing.
The interns will undergo an Onboarding process with the Internship Head to avoid being overwhelmed when the workload was given to them by their supervisors. This Onboarding process will focus on getting to-know Vonas Media and answering clarifications with the interns.
Each department will have one intern, this intern will hone his/her skill that will be offered on their respective departments. Also provide other related-assistance to the supervisor, should the situation ask for it.
The tasks are divided per department, as follows:
Production
The intern shall work accordingly with the Executive Producer and Videographer in making sure that everything is well-executed and planned before and on the date of the shooting process.
Pre-Production includes finalizing guestβs availability, place, and even the equipment that will be used. Assistance and proper communication with the Executive Producer and the guests are a must for the intern.
Moreover, the intern should also help in handling the expenses in the production to make sure that the finances will be properly disseminated and documented.
During the shooting, the intern will act like a Production Assistant and should also be an addition to the people who are responsible for the equipment that will be used - to make sure that no equipment will be left after the shoot.
The intern should have his/her own checklist of the possible clips and shots that the videographer might forget but are essential for the content such as thumbnail shots, shots for specific scenarios, possible questions to ask, and other matters that must be materialized as well.
Video Editing
The intern will be working with the editing head. The internβs task will be on providing assistance to the Editor and the intern will also be trained with the software being used to learn more about video editing, as well as Vonas Mediaβ Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
The intern must also help in data management, such as clips collation and trimming down videos for various social media highlights.
Marketing
The intern will be working closely with the Social Media Managers in distributing content online. The internβs tasks may include copywriting, audience engagement, and also learn various software that are needed by the intern to widen his/her knowledge in digital marketing. Moreover, he/she should provide adequate assistance to its supervisor if the situation asks for it.
The intern will have to work accordingly with the Community Manager to understand how Vonas Media look for and invite guests in any of its YouTube channels. Tasks include inputting information on the database for possible guests and topics (especially, At The Back Door and Off The Record).
After the 3-month internship period, the interns will then present feedback to the team, especially to its supervisor in the pursuit of making the internship program better, as well as the SOPs in the company.
This feedback should include two categories:
First, Internal Feedback which is about Vonas Mediaβs workflow and other internal processes.
Second is External Feedback which focuses on the outcomes of every materialized production - how can Vonas better the social media presence in comparison with other channels who target the same markets that Vonas does.
The interns have a flexible time schedule. However, they should complete at least 20 hours of work time every week, Monday to Friday. The intern shall also receive a Certificate of Completion after the internship duration.
