Uploading the Video

To upload a video to YouTube, log in to your YouTube account, click on your profile picture, and select β€œYouTube Studio”. From there, click on the β€œVideos” tab on the left-hand side of the screen and click the β€œ+” icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Select β€œUpload video” and choose the video file from your computer.

Title and Description

When uploading your video, give it a clear and concise title that accurately reflects the content of the video. In the video description, provide more information about the video, including any relevant links or calls to action.

Tags

Tags are used to help YouTube understand what your video is about and can help it appear in search results. Choose relevant tags that accurately describe the content of the video.

Thumbnail Image

Choose a high-quality thumbnail image that accurately represents the content of the video and will entice viewers to click and watch.

Optimizing Metadata

In addition to the title, description, tags, and thumbnail, there are several other metadata fields that can help improve the visibility and engagement of your video. These include the video category, language, and subtitles.

Publishing the Video

Once you have completed all the steps above, you are ready to publish your video on YouTube. Click the β€œPublish” button and your video will be live on your channel.
